THE GREATEST COMEBACK: PART 2

BECAUSE HE’S BACK I CAN MAKE A COMEBACK!

Today is Good Friday, one of Jesus' hardest days on earth, but he chose to endure the pain for our freedom.

1 Peter 2:24 (NLT) says, "He personally carried our sins in his body on the cross so that we can be dead to sin and live for what is right. By his wounds you are healed."

Here’s the amazing thing…

The same power that raised Jesus Christ from the dead, is available to you to help you with your problems.  

Romans 8:11, “The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, he will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you.”(NLT)

The same power that raised Christ from the grave is available to you today!

There is comeback power living inside of you! When you receive Him as your personal Savior and Lord!

There’s resurrection power inside of you!

The Same Power, That Raised Christ from the Grave, Lives In Me!

I love what it said in the 3D presentation,

“This resurrection LIFE that we received from God is not a small timid LIFE but rather a wide open, spacious, bountiful, abundant LIFE.”

When we understand that Jesus Is the LIFE:

YESTERDAY CAN BE FORGIVEN – GRACE

2 Corinthians 12:9, “But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.”(NIV)

1 John 1:9, “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.”(NIV)

We all are sinners in need of a Savior. That’s why Jesus came to die for our sins!

Check out this powerful baptism testimony – “I was raised in the church for the first 10 years of my life with my grandmother. But then I took a 22 year break from Christ that was filled with sin, greed and selfishness.  Similar to the story of Jacob, I wrestled with God for quite a while. I was given so many signs that I needed to accept Jesus but I was not done sinning. It took a hip injury that resulted in total hip replacement to make me realize I was done sinning and that is was time for something better. Now that I am part of C3 my life has improved so much. I’ve received Christ as my personal Savior. All of my relationships have improved and I am a much happier person. I feel more complete walking along God’s path.”

 TODAY CAN BE MANAGED – PEACE

Not only can we have our past forgiven but God gives us peace for today! His peace is so powerful even when things around us look stressful the peace of God from the inside is so much stronger!

Philippians 4:6-7, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”(NIV)

He guards our hearts from being discouraged and our minds from thinking negatively.

We need healthy relationships!

OUR FUTURE CAN BE GUARANTEED! – HOPE

Jesus came to this earth, lived, served, died on a cross and rose from the grave so that we could have REAL HOPE!

I Thessalonians 4:13-17, “And now, dear brothers and sisters, we want you to know what will happen to the believers who have died so you will not grieve like people who have no hope. 14 For since we believe that Jesus died and was raised to life again, we also believe that when Jesus returns, God will bring back with him the believers who have died. 15 We tell you this directly from the Lord: We who are still living when the Lord returns will not meet him ahead of those who have died. 16 For the Lord himself will come down from heaven with a commanding shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet call of God. First, the Christians who have died will rise from their graves. 17 Then, together with them, we who are still alive and remain on the earth will be caught up in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. Then we will be with the Lord forever.”

You don’t have to live in fear one more day about your eternal destiny. Through a personal relationship with Jesus you can KNOW that you have eternal life.

Today you may feel like there is No Hope but I’m here to tell you there is HOPE because of JESUS and when we understand that HE is the WAY, the TRUTH and the LIFE it will change our LIFE!

With God and a church family he's making a comeback!

If you’ve hit rock bottom.

If you’ve grown complacent.

If you don’t feel anything.

If you’ve been running from God.

If you feel like your life is falling apart.

If everything on the outside looks like it’s great but you know that in reality everything is not ok.

If you need to make a comeback, I have GOOD NEWS for you! Jesus made a comeback so that you and I can make a comeback!

Ephesians 1:13-14, “And you also were included in Christ when you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation. When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, 14 who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession—to the praise of his glory.”(NIV)
