Let's Go!

I love that phrase! It’s often used when you are getting ready to go somewhere or begin a new venture. Anytime God is calling you to do something new and different there are always going to be obstacles:

Fear of the Unknown

Anxiety

Uncertainty

People Pleaser

I know because I have experienced all of the above at times. But as we approach our Grand Re-Opening this Sunday at C3 Church I am filled with faith and courage!

God’s word says that God does not give us a spirit of fear but of: 

POWER, 

LOVE and a

SOUND MIND!

I am praying for the same boldness that God gave the disciples in the early church. 

Acts 4:31, “After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly.” (NIV)

It’s no secret that so many people are hurting, confused, uptight and anxious. The world needs the church during this time like never before! 

I love how God is using online to continue to provide hope and a powerful worship experience. But it does not replace gathering together!

I recently reached out to a guy after he posted a video online. I could tell he was hurting and was at a crossroads in his life. I messaged him and after having a conversation with him and praying with him I invited him to my men’s small group. It was our first in person gathering for our group after doing several zoom calls. It gave him a safe place to share what he was going through. His life was changed that night and now he has a group of men walking with him through his life transition. This experience would have been extremely difficult or impossible to do in a zoom call. 

So, let’s rise up like mighty warriors of the King and make a difference! Let’s come prepared for God to move in our lives and through our lives! The mission that God gave C3 Church 22 years ago is still the same! To provide Real Hope for Real People in a Real World!

I am so excited because I have personally invited some neighbors who have never been to C3 and they are coming this Sunday! We will continue to provide a fantastic online experience for those who may not be ready to come back together and I totally understand that! There is no shame or condemnation. But I want to encourage all of you to lay your fears, worries and burdens at the feet of Jesus because He cares for you and so do we!
